A toast to avocado!

We are bemused by the statement on the current NatWest radio advertisement which declares that 'avocado' is never coming back.  Whether or not there are polls which support this statement, here at Blackbirds-and-me we strongly disagree. They evidently didn't poll  mid-century modern aficionados, and there are plenty of us around; if they had, they would have discovered that avocado is ALREADY back. Yep, the Seventies are right on-trend, and that includes avocado or other coloured-suite bathrooms, as the popularity of our posts on @blackbirdsandme (Instagram) clearly evidence. Tastefully done of course: no mis-matching pieces or different-coloured loo-lids. But back in vogue amidst those with flair, yes!
